Meet Imprints at the BAPO 2018 conference
Cadscan will be exhibiting Imprints 3D printed insoles at the BAPO conference. This will take place at the Lancashire Country cricket club between the 16th and 18th of March 2018. To discover further applications, and find out how Imprints can simplify design, manufacturing and orthotic provision visit us at stand number 60.
The imprints solution comprises of a 3D scanner, software and 3D printer to create custom orthoses. It was initially designed to prevent diabetic foot ulcers, but can now be used to design a variety of custom orthoses.
The insoles are personalised according to the patient’s weight, foot, shape and load profile for optimal peak pressure reduction. Further personalisation is achieved by printing variable densities, differentiating arch heights and insole structure/shape etc. to deliver a unique and intimate fit for each patient.
This solution was engineered with health professionals in mind, it has been designed to reduce time and effort spent on orthotic provision with no compromise on quality. Our aim is to deliver consistency, reliability (insole design is right the first time) and efficiency.
Cadscan uses 3D technology to develop solutions for a range of healthcare, robotics and engineering applications. Based in Chester, UK, the company was founded in 2011. For more information please visit http://www.cad-scan.co.uk alternatively contact
